Planning Your Visit

When to Visit
Field Trips are available between March and June.
Field Trips begin at 9:30AM and end at Noon (negotiable times)


Length of the Average Visit
Two and a half hours


Chaperones
1 chaperone or teacher per 10 students


Create a Schedule
Divide your students into two full groups- Group A and Group B All students will attend the performance and the wrap-up session together Students will take the lock site visit and the puppet-making workshops as subgroups


Visitor Responsibilities
All teachers and chaperones are asked to help us maintain our schedules Teachers should clearly divide the students into two groups before the field trip and the students should be well aware of his or her group assignment We have allowed restroom breaks throughout the field trip- please have your students use the restrooms during these times as much as possible

What to Wear
Normal seasonal school clothing

Lunch
Bringing a bag lunch is an option- we have refrigeration but no facilities for heating food

Souvenirs (include a price range)
We expect that our video version of My Name Is Jeremiah will be available by spring of 2005

Cancellations
School cancellations should be made 90 days prior to the field trip Cancellations of up to ten people from a group may be made up until the field trip date

Late Arrivals
Late arrivals will be seated when deemed appropriate by the box office manager

Traveling Time
Varies by point of origin- we are open to accommodating longer trips to the IceHouse
