- From US-22 take Cedar Crest Blvd. left 1.5 mi. to Broadway.
- Turn right on Broadway .5 mi. to Haines Mill Rd.
- Turn left on Haines Mill Rd. .1 mi. to site.
Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum (Admin. Headquarters)
432 W. Walnut Street, Allentown
- From US-22 take PA 145 south 1.8 mi. to Walnut St.
- Turn left on Walnut .3 mi. to museum (on right).
- Museum is by Trout Hall.
Lock Ridge Furnace Museum
525 Franklin St. - Alburtis, PA
- From US-22 take PA 100 south 3.8 mi. to Spring Creek Rd.
- Turn right on Spring Creek 1.8 mi. to Franklin St.
- Bear left on Franklin, following Franklin as it next curves right a total of .4 mi. to site.

Troxell-Steckel House, 4229 Reliance Street - Egypt, PA
- From US-22 take PA 145 north 4.4 mi. to PA-329.
- Turn left on PA-329 1 mi. to Reliance St.

In Case of an Emergency/First Aid The Historical Society sites are not equipped with first aid kits. Please remember to bring your own first aid kit.
Special Needs
Please notify us when booking your tour if any students in your class have any type of special needs, so that your time here may be as enjoyable as possible. The Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum is wheelchair accessible. The Lock Ridge Furnace Museum is accessible with only a small threshold-type step. Other sites are first-floor accessible with only a small threshold-type step and offer photographs and written text of second-floor tour spaces.
Restroom Facilities
Your guide will be happy to direct you to the facilities at each site. If your whole class plans to use the restrooms, please mention this fact when booking your tour, so that we may allow adequate time. If you plan to visit the Claussville School, you should be aware that the only toilet facility is an authentic outhouse!
