Group Size:
Separate students into groups of 25 or less. Please call 484-664-1002 x.121 for more information about group sizes and reservations. Do not assign your groups numbers or letters. We will assign group numbers when you arrive. Please remember that you have until the day before your visit to call and adjust your numbers. We DO NOT make attendance or balance adjustments the day of the visits.
Minimum Group Size:
The minimum group size is 10 paying students. Groups with less then 10 paying students are required to pay for at least 10 students to receive a workshop.
Chaperone to Student Ratio:
Please ensure that there is a 1:5 chaperone to student ratio for students in grades K-2. A chaperone to student ratio of 1:10 is required for students in grades 3-8.
Teachers/Chaperones Roles:
The presence of teachers and adult chaperones is essential during a visit to the Da Vinci Science Center. We require your assistance in the following areas:

Arrival & Departure:
The Da Vinci Science Center is located at 3145 Hamilton Blvd. Bypass, Allentown, PA 18103. Buses arriving with students are asked to pull up to the main entrance to unload. Before unloading students, please have the lead teacher come to the front desk to check-in and make any payment that is due. After dropping off the students, bus drivers are asked to park along the outside of our parking lot, along the curb. Please do not park in our lot unless there is no space along the edges of the lot.
Lunch Facilities:
The Da Vinci Science Center has a café where each group of students will have a designated 30-minute time period to eat lunch. Please have students brown bag their lunch as our vending options are limited.
The Center Store:
The Curiosity Shop features a wide variety of items for sale. All students are invited to visit the store during their visit. When making your reservation please let our staff know if you intend to visit The Curiosity Shop. When the group does visit the store, if a student purchases items, our store staff will write his or her name on the bag they place the items in and then will put them in a box with his or her group number on it. At the end of the day, each group’s box will be down by the main entrance to be picked up.
